What is seed?
seed is a web app for notes, tasks and team chat, with an AI agent built in. You capture an idea, the agent helps turn it into a plan with steps, owners and dates, and your team gets it done in the chat thread attached to each item.
Is seed really free?
Yes. You start with 14 days of Pro, no card. After that the free plan has no time limit: unlimited notes, tasks, folders and collaborators, unlimited Google Drive links, and 30 agent requests a month. Pro is $8 a month (or $80 a year) for an agent that sends, books and posts for you across your whole workspace.
Can seed replace Slack for a small team?
For many small teams, yes. Every folder has a chat channel and every item has its own thread, with @mentions, reactions and file attachments. If you still use Slack, seed can post to a Slack channel, and pinning a Slack message turns it into a task.
Is there a mobile app?
seed works in any modern phone browser. Add it to your home screen from Safari or Chrome and it opens full-screen like an app, with the same folders, chat and reminders as on your computer. A native iOS app is coming soon, with push notifications for mentions, messages, replies and reminders, an unread badge, quiet hours and per-folder mute.
What can the AI agent actually do?
It can create, edit, assign and organize tasks, break an idea into subtasks, search the web, create Google Calendar events and Drive files, send Gmail, add rows to Google Sheets and post to Slack. You decide which of those it may use, and whether it asks you first.
How do I sign up?
